• As Team Lead of the Central-Frontend team comprising 12 talented individuals, I spearhead initiatives that streamline developer workflows, enhance product performance, and drive innovation. • Developer Experience & Tooling:
• We developed the Frontend-CLI, a Node.js tool that automates redundant tasks and boosts developer efficiency. The Frontend Devtools provides package monitoring and system health tracking. I created the Cognitive Complexity Checker, a VSCode extension that analyzes code complexity and provides refactoring insights.
• Infrastructure & Platform Engineering:
• I maintain our frontend infrastructure using Terraform and led the migration from Node 12 to Node 20.9. We transitioned from Jenkins to locally-powered deploys, eliminating costly EC2 staging environments. Our AWS cost tracker enables granular expense tracking per product, improving financial visibility.
• Design System & Innovation:
• I built a Design System adoption engine that accelerates adoption and governance across products. For our Low Code automation product, we created deploy versioning capabilities. The Frontend Notifier serves as our centralized notification hub for organizational communication.
• Performance & Security:
• We integrated Cloudflare to enhance security and accelerate page load times. We've researched Small and Large Language Models to optimize workflows and automated infrastructure setup for new products, reducing time-to-market.
