• Established in 2015 under the able agile of the Dean of Alumni Affairs and International Relations, the International Relations Cell has a clear cut objective of improving the ranking of IIT Kharagpur on the International Front.
• With ushered energy and renewed enthusiasm, the Cell concentrates on giving International Students and Faculty an experience at IIT Kharagpur that they are going to remember forever. We have already kickstarted work on many initiatives such as the Semester Exchange Program, Foreign Training Program as well as the International Summer Research Program. The cell intends to maximise awareness about the current collaborations and tie-ups that IIT Kharagpur has with other renowned International Universities while fostering the improvement in the quality of MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) signed by IIT Kharagpur. Very soon, the International Relations Cell is going to be the springboard for the students in and outside IIT Kharagpur to achieve a Globally Diversified Classroom Experience.

• Project: Exploring VM Granular Storage array based snapshot backup capability for vVol Virtual Machines
• Suggested a transition from LUN granular to VM granular storage snapshots to optimize backup tool of VERITAS CloudPoint
• Designed a VMware vSphere API and pyvmomi based python framework to decrease the snapshot holding period in VMware vVol VM
• Tested a vCenter managed VM registered via vStorage APIs for Storage Awareness(VASA) on Dell EMC Unity array using FIO and IOSTAT
• Reduced performance dip duration by 66.67 % from 24 minutes to 8 minutes of a vVol virtual machine during backup using CloudPoint

• ● Developed a C++ code that implemented a test generation strategy based on Pseudo Boolean Satisfiability devised for
• finding test patterns producing the maximum power dissipation from sequential zero delay and unit delay circuits
• ● Proposed an ILP based approach for processing the Satisfiability constraints for each gate as input to MiniSat+
• ● Verified the results with the experimental results on ISCAS-85 benchmarks (both combinational and sequential)
