Anjali Ahir — Product Designer

I didn’t get into design just to make things look good. It started with noticing how everyday things don’t always work the way they should, products that confuse people, systems that feel inconvenient, or experiences that could be much simpler. That curiosity is what drew me to industrial design, understanding how people interact with the world around them, and designing with that in mind. Over time, I’ve worked on projects like redesigning an ice cream cart system, exploring mobility concepts, and building solutions that focus on usability, context, and real-world behavior, not just form. My process is rooted in: • observation • research • and translating insights into meaningful design decisions I enjoy working across the design journey, from identifying problems and defining direction to developing form, structure, and final outputs through 3D modeling and rendering. Currently, I’m expanding my thinking by exploring UI/UX design, where I’m learning how the same principles apply in digital experiences. Through the PDL Cohort, I’m focusing on improving how I think, not just what I make, by diving deeper into research, strategy, and user behavior. My skill set includes: • 3D modeling (Rhino) • Rendering (Keyshot) • Concept development • CMF • Research & system thinking Right now, I’m also building skills in: • Figma • UX research • Interaction design • Design strategy I’m looking for opportunities where I can: learn from experienced designers, work on meaningful problems, and grow in a collaborative, design-driven environment.
