My career began in recruitment over two decades ago, where I developed a passion for understanding people’s potential, connecting them with opportunities, and witnessing the impact they create when they’re in the right environment.. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working across enterprises, scale-ups, and SMEs, embedding practices that don’t just attract talent but create cultures where people thrive. Six years ago, I transitioned into the cybersecurity industry, where I’ve shifted my focus from finding great people to fostering their growth, learning, and leadership. This journey brought me into a People & Culture role, where my purpose is clear: to craft strategies that don’t just attract talent but help people see their future within an organisation. Whether it’s developing career pathways, fostering wellbeing, or embedding learning opportunities, I believe in creating structures that prioritise people without losing sight of business goals. Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply committed to community. As Chief Advisor for WiCyS UK&I , a volunteer with Cyber House Party, and part of the team launching BSides Birmingham, I actively support initiatives that make cybersecurity more inclusive and accessible. Mentorship has been a foundation of my journey – championing the next generation of talent and helping others navigate their path. For me, it’s always been about people – their potential, their growth, and the lasting impact they create.
