Over the course of more than two decades, I've navigated life and health insurance, reinsurance, and healthcare. My professional journey has encompassed diverse roles, including business development, distribution, risk management, and strategy. I've been fortunate to initiate numerous greenfield projects, establishing new functions, exploring uncharted territories, and expanding product categories. As a visionary and institution builder, I've led over a dozen long-lasting greenfield initiatives. At Hannover Malaysia, I spearheaded business development for ' U for Life', Hannover Re's first fully digital insurance distribution JV. Here, I shared the full nine yard responsibilities with the then GM of Hannover Re Malaysia. My contributions at Max Life have left a lasting impact. Leading multiple functions, I achieved a decade-best mortality experience and acclaimed claims experience, receiving ASQ and EFMA recognition. I played a pivotal role in introducing a groundbreaking innovation - InstaClaim, an industry-first claims service. This is now an industry standard Currently, I steer my organization's strategy, new initiatives, and distribution efforts. My expertise lies in creating efficient distribution networks, developing Go-To-Market strategies, structuring reinsurance frameworks, incubating innovative products, and refining underwriting and claims processes In the Indian context, I laid the foundation for Hannover Re's presence and pioneered the integration of e-commerce channels into the life insurance landscape. I take pride in conceptualizing India's first Health Savings Account (HSA) equivalent with GenRe ensemble, a concept I continue to personally endorse. Before entering the corporate world, I embarked on a four-year research journey, delving into the intricacies of depression, anxiety, and memory.
