• Blue Jeans mission is to make video communications as easy and pervasive as audio communications, enabling more effective collaboration at work, at home, and on the road.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Automated infrastructure across various technology stacks and operating systems with single click deployments such that different teams could create and provision their own infrastructure on-demand and deploy the latest artifacts. Built using AWS CloudFormation, Chef, RunDeck.
• Set up automated provisioning and SCM systems from scratch such that any new system which is added to infrastructure by auto scaling mechanisms would be provisioned and configured to the service ready state automatically. Built using AWS AutoScaling, User data scripts, Chef.
• Set up immutable environments for testing infrastructure, which empowered everyone to test their code changes on the fly. Built using AWS CloudFormation, Jenkins, Chef.
• Integrated various tools to create a customized solution for governance, orchestration and automation model.
• Created Operations as a Service for internal teams which freed DevOps team’s time.
• Orchestrated deployments to hundreds of nodes, bringing down deployment times by 80%.
• Brought down AWS bill significantly (40%) by bringing governance tools and provided more infrastructure insights to everyone. Built using Ansible, Chef, RunDeck majorly.

• Virendra helped a US publishing giant to move from private data center to cloud. In addition, his role and responsibilities included build, release and site reliability operations on cloud.

• Transitioned Infrastructure from private data center to Cloud (AWS)
• Designed the overall SCM, CI and Release Management process and workflows.
• Trained Dev team on Github and GIT related stuff. Created private git server for in-house needs.

• Setup monitoring and alerting mechanisms for AWS and private datacenter infrastructure.

• Designed the overall SCM, CI and Release Management process and workflows from scratch.
• Architected the end-to-end build, release and deployment process for the various clients using Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Shell scripts and Amazon AWS.
• Maintained and improved the build system by build file re-factoring and script development.
• Implemented reusable branching, tagging and merging strategy, which was then implemented for multiple teams within the organization.
• Created a build once and deploy everywhere system which can be ported to multiple environments without having the need to run separate builds.

• Optymyze helps increase sales performance with enterprise cloud applications that enable sales force effectiveness and sales channel management.
• Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
• Part of the 3 member team that introduced and enforced the DevOps culture in the Organization.
• Created a build deployment pipeline using TeamCity and RunDeck and reduced build times by 20% per module for deployment of the web applications and services that made up the Synygy software.
• Handled Software Configuration management for all the environments before production and implemented a process to stage changes effectively so that there's almost zero downtime.
• Implemented Vagrant in the organization for creating development environments and avoiding post deployment issues due to manual errors.
• Performed platform compatibility testing for various in-house installers and evaluated Sikuli for image based automation of installer testing which saved a lot of time.
