As Senior Director, IT Business Office & Technology Compliance and CIP Senior Manager, I lead the governance, financial management, and compliance functions that enable ATCO’s Information Technology organization to deliver services safely, reliably, and in alignment with regulatory and internal control requirements. I provide strategic oversight for IT financial stewardship, contracts and commercial governance, regulatory support, internal controls, and enterprise technology compliance, and I am accountable for ATCO Electric Transmission’s Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliance program. Key Responsibilities · Direct IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, capitalization/expense stewardship, and performance reporting. · Oversee IT regulatory support and compliance activities, translating obligations into practical controls, processes, and evidence. · Establish and maintain IT internal controls (including control design, testing readiness, remediation, and audit support) in partnership with risk, finance, and assurance teams. · Lead IT compliance and policy governance, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and applicable regulatory frameworks. · Own IT contract and commercial governance, including sourcing support, contract lifecycle oversight, vendor performance management, and risk controls. · Partner with IT and business leadership to define priorities, manage risk, and enable delivery through clear operating rhythms and accountable ownership. CIP Senior Manager Accountability (ATCO Electric Transmission) · Serve as the accountable senior leader for ATCO Electric Transmission’s CIP compliance program, ensuring sustained adherence to applicable CIP standards and requirements. · Set program direction and governance for CIP compliance, including roles and responsibilities, compliance planning, and continuous improvement. · Ensure readiness for audits, self-certifications, and compliance monitoring activities through timely evidence collection, issue management, and corrective action tracking. · Oversee identification, assessment, and mitigation of CIP-related risks in collaboration with operational, security, and technology teams. · Ensure effective incident response, reporting, and lessons learned processes where CIP obligations apply. · Provide executive reporting on CIP compliance posture, risks, and remediation progress to appropriate leadership and governance forums.
