Over my career I have developed an in-depth knowledge of Supply Chain and Logistics and had the opportunity to design, lead and implement some significant programs to support New store openings, Seasonal volume planning, Black Friday/Boxing Day promotions and the launch of Global sourcing for our private label products, all of these programs required me to partner and gain an understanding of how each business unit of the company operates, including, Retail, Merchandizing, IT, Store design and Inventory management. The partnerships and knowledge gained allowed me to execute these programs and others like them consistently over many years. In addition I have also played a significant leadership role in many major organization initiatives such as the growth in ecommerce , lunching a multi- channel fulfillment strategy, launching the Best Buy brand in Canada, operating the two brand strategy and of course the consolidation of the two brands into Best Buy, these initiatives provided me with the opportunity to further my knowledge of the business but also allowed me to influence the outcome by developing and executing complex change management activities to support the strategic shifts of the company.
