• Wearer of all hats at IT 4 Recruiters. The aim of IT 4 Recruiters is to improve the recruiting process in the IT industry from start to finish. We have experienced frustration over the years that comes from recruiters and hiring managers being unclear about the IT positions they are attempting to fill. This is not an intentional lack of clarity and instead comes from IT staff having such a different background from many recruiters and managers. The knowledge gap creates a situation similar to trying to recruit in a foreign language. The world of IT is huge, but we will take a step at a time to build out a knowledge base of IT knowledge translated for non IT people. This will provide a bridge for those that need to understand IT concepts and terms without spending the time learning how it all works. We will focus on terminology and principles where possible and avoid mind numbing detail that many IT discussions devolve into. We have a road map of topics we plan to cover, but we will also open up a slot each month for the community to vote on covering a topic we have not yet addressed.

• Was the first IT guy into a software company that had outsourced its development. I started the software development group from scratch including a rough transition of undocumented code from a vendor to an in house team that I built. A long and bumpy ride of growth included developing processes and procedure for the development team, gathering requirements through customer interaction and building the vision for the company along with the executive team.
