About

I build systems, but I’m obsessed with how they break. This "break-to-build" mindset is what drives my work as an Application Security Engineer at CoinDCX. I believe that truly resilient software isn't built just by following checklists, but by understanding the mechanics of the exploit. Beyond the office, I maintain a sharp technical edge by hunting bugs on HackerOne and occasionally competing in CTFs. These offensive pursuits allow me to bring a real-world attacker’s perspective back to the defensive side of engineering. Currently, I am focused on building secure, resilient software by integrating security throughout the development lifecycle. I work closely with engineering teams to identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications, APIs, and cloud-native systems. My Approach & Expertise: Shift-Left Security: Integrating SAST, DAST, and SCA into DevSecOps pipelines to catch bugs before they reach production. Threat Modeling & Code Review: Translating complex security risks into practical, actionable guidance for developers. Continuous Research: Staying current with OWASP standards and modern attack vectors to ensure innovation never outpaces security. My foundation in technology was built through community leadership as the CS Lead @ Google DSC ‘22 (FET-JU) and tested in high-pressure environments like Unfold ‘24, where I emerged as a winner.
