• Bigdata stampede program is designed for the clients which are willing to invest in evaluation of IBM's bigdata products. This program involved analyzing/ finding big-data usecase, implementing a prototype and help in the knowledge sharing with clients.

• Shipping dedication is one of the initiatives between Cognizant- eBay relationships, where Cognizant executes the projects for shipping team in eBay in streamlined way. Different projects in Shipping section of eBay are executed though this stream. Learnt taking responsibilities of small to mid sized team. Learnt to drive an project through all development cycles, communications to stakeholders, production releases, issues, customer expection management etc.
• The key initiatives executed in this stream are –
• Single Shipping Label flow on eBay: - This project involved providing sellers on eBay with a facility to purchase an online shipping label for their sold items on eBay. This was one of the key initiatives from eBay to provide better selling experience for sellers on eBay.
• Shipping Label Services SOA integration: This projects was about providing the same Shipping Labels printing facility as web-service
• Tracking SOA services: - This is functionality on eBay site which enables sellers to enter tracking information for the items sold on eBay site. The project involved implementing a functionality that allows seller to enter multiple tracking numbers for one sold item, and also exposing the same functionality as a new web-service.
• Allowing sellers to set rate-tables: - This functionality enables sellers to set a rate table which will act as a baseline for all flat rate shipping items listed. This helps the sellers to simplify the listing process and enables them to provide different shipping rates for specific regions even with flat-rate shipping.
• India escrow payments:- Joined as a beginner to the team, and worked on various parts of the product on need basis. Learnt Java in depth, clearcase, requirement gathering etc.

• Sign In conversion was one of the projects after eBay implemented a new framework (V4), which was highly customizable and maintainable, yet able to provide the performance that can sustain high volume of transactions. This project was about converting existing Java/ XSL based code into pure Java based implementation, and also framework level changes that can use features provided by V4, and will help in future to build new functionalities on top of it.
• Migrating verification platform -
• This project was for application security domain in eBay which verifies the identity users registering on the site. The Verification process on eBay was scattered and difficult to maintain as it was implemented in V3. (XSL based framework). So all of the verification processes were collected together on the basis of a framework which was built on top of V4 framework. This project involved migrating few flows on new verification platform, like eBay Motors registration, half.com user registration, DE email change, etc.
