Managed the R&D Department, 5 ML PhDs and 10 Software Engineers, on Mobli's project EyeIn.
We were dealing with cutting-edge Big-data technologies. EyeIn did computer-vision analysis on a massive scale and served it to high-traffic websites.
Using Machine-Learning, we were able to take a large number of images and videos and decide which are more compelling and interesting. We've filtered user created content and presented only the interesting media in near real-time.
Our project R&D Department dealt with distributed systems, using technologies like Scala, Cassandra, Elastic Search, Kafka & Akka.
We've also built a cool Web client & a powerful web plugin for high-traffic news websites.
During my time in this project, the team and I took EyeIn from POC to production.
