You don't scroll on your phone to learn about B2B sales. You scroll on it to feel human for 5 minutes. That's why I started posting memes. Some of my happiest times growing up were staying up until all hours of the night, sharing memes & editing my Tumblr blog to perfection. Then, college came, the blog faded, and the memes became something I enjoyed alone instead of with a community. I started working in recruitment and found a very real, genuine passion in it. Manufacturing & light industrial were where I truly thrived. These were my kind of people, my kind of work, and things were really good. Then I got laid off. When that happened, I leaned into LinkedIn to build connections and hopefully find a new job. What I found instead was a bunch of people exhausted from their job search, burned out from corporate life, and drained from not knowing what the future holds. And you know what? I don't know what the future holds either. What I do know is that in times of uncertainty and isolation, people need to laugh.
