About

Founder, Liminal Velocity Commerce is bifurcating. On one side, the Experience Stack (social/immersive); on the other, the Utility Stack (agentic/API-first). The middle ground is dying. I founded Liminal Velocity to help brands navigate this threshold. We’re moving from Pixels to Protocols, ensuring your brand isn't just "pretty," but high-fidelity and "interview-ready" for the world of AI agents. It's time to stop optimizing page loads and start optimizing agentic context. With over 40 years of experience in the technology industry I've been especially focused on hyper-growth tech organizations and growing their platforms at scale. Prior to joining Bazaarvoice, I was a Vice President of Engineering at Shopify, working to scale their Shopify Plus platform and business, and delivering sophisticated solutions to Shopify’s largest merchants. I've served as CTO at multiple organizations, including Groupon, American Eagle Outfitters, and Time Inc. Over my eight year tenure with the Amazon I was responsible for Amazon's Website Application Platform powering Amazon sites around the world, and Amazon's Digital Store Platform As a champion of diversity and inclusion, I sit on the Board of Trustees of anitab.org, and the board of directors of the National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT). I'm an advisor to several pre-IPO companies.
