  • Untouched began as a simple observation: most online fashion didn’t reflect real women.
  • I realised many shoppers couldn’t visualise outfits on their own body type, so I researched four common Indian body types and invited friends who matched those shapes to model my pieces. On the website, customers could select their body type and view every outfit accordingly—making shopping more intuitive and less uncertain.
  • Through five collections, I experimented deeply with brocade and was among the first to reinterpret this heritage fabric for western and indo-fusion wear. What was once reserved for ethnic outfits became dresses, jackets, coord sets, and modern silhouettes. It’s now a popular trend, but at the time, it was an unexplored space—one I’m proud to have helped open. This blend of modern design and heritage fabric found a strong audience among NRIs in the US, who wanted clothes that felt global yet rooted.
  • I handled everything end-to-end: concept, design, sourcing, production, sizing customisation, branding, and market positioning. It taught me the value of consumer empathy, clarity in design, and building solutions that genuinely help people.
