In this role, I worked on a combined sales/operations/product team, so I got to analyze data and drive strategies for all three areas. Below are a couple of my most impactful projects.
When I joined the team, we had a reporting that tracked sales conversions, but we lacked data on what drives conversions. Because of this, I created a Power BI dashboard suite tracking leading indicators like time since last touchpoint, aging leads, and bad leads (leads that needed closing out). Within 24 hours of publishing, over 1,000 bad leads were cleaned up, and the leading indicators above improved by 3-5% each month.
Another initiative I took while on this team was using data to drive how our salespeople prioritized leads. One of my hunches was that that the further a lead lived to one of our primary care clinics, the less likely they were to convert. So I wrote a Python script that mapped the distances between over 60,000 leads and our 300 clinics. Then once I found these distances, I pulled in conversion data and found a strong correlation between proximity to clinic and likeliness to convert directly impacting our sales strategy.

Data and Reporting Professional

In this role, I worked for Humana's Specialty Pharmacy and worked with data including prescriptions, shipments, and health outcomes.
One of my projects was managing a large amount of reporting pertaining to health outcomes for various diseases and drugs. To improve this reporting, I built a large Power BI suite, designing the pages to be intuitive for non-technical stakeholders and automating data refreshes to save tens of thousands of dollars a year in labor costs.
Another project included forecasting and reporting data on over $30 million in annual savings by making drug regimens more efficient. To forecast the following year, I used data from the previous year and took seasonality into account to accurately forecast performance month over month. Then at the end of each month, I would create a PowerPoint deck to showcase the prior month's performance to upper executives.
