• Partnered in creation of an engineering internship / mentorship program which brings diversity to the company through giving opportunities to junior engineers from non traditional backgrounds as well as giving current engineers opportunities for management and mentorship experience.
• Built software needed to support the agents and admin experience viewing and editing customer policies. Daily tasks included creating React with Typescript components using React Context for state management and building out RESTful api endpoints in frontend middle layer written with Express in Typescript. Transitioned to backend team and project written in Express with Typescript. Built new infrastructure on top of current architecture and maintained previous functionality with ongoing updates to product needs.
• Continuous collaboration and communication with parallel teams and product. Ongoing support to add full integration tests with Jest and React Testing Library for all major policy pages.

• Owned project for building out new authentication page. Full stack project with brand new frontend written in React with Typescript and integration with legacy authentication api. Included adding CSRF token validation, authentication event tracking using Sift and ongoing support for new UI and features.
• Built React components with latest React concepts and Redux state management while maintaining and updating legacy components, integrated use of a separate shared component library, contributed to existing and created new documentation, maintaining code coverage on all front end projects (unit and integration tests)
