About

For enquiries please contact: Enquiries@worrallpartners.com As co-founder of 1071 Group, alongside Jimmy Worrall, I am building a portfolio of investments and ventures across sport, media, leadership, wellbeing and education — areas that have shaped my life and will define my next chapter. Through 1071 Media, we recently launched our first podcast, The Football Boardroom, exploring leadership, decision-making and performance at the highest level of the modern game. With several further projects in development, our aim is to create thought-provoking content across multiple platforms that inform, inspire and engage. Since stepping down as England Manager, I have continued to learn and contribute within the leadership space. My book, Dear England: Lessons in Leadership, reflects on my time with England and the lessons drawn from building culture, resilience and teams capable of sustained success. I have had the privilege of serving as a guest lecturer at Harvard University, teaching the case study published by the Business School on my tenure, and of speaking to global businesses and conferences — exchanging thoughts on leadership especially in complex, high-pressure environments. Delivering the BBC Dimbleby Lecture in 2025 prompted a deeper exploration of the challenges facing young people in our country, particularly young men. Supporting the next generation in building confidence, resilience and purpose is work I intend to continue. This aligns closely with my role as a Goodwill Ambassador for The King’s Trust. I am also proud to serve as an Ambassador for Martin House Children’s Hospice and a Patron of Help for Heroes. It was the honour of my life to represent and lead the England national team - 57 times as a player and 102 times as manager - competing in eight major tournaments and reaching two European Championship finals. The memories and relationships from that journey will stay with me always. In quieter moments, I can usually be found walking the dog, on a golf course, or learning to master a padel court.
