I founded LoanTube in 2016 with a simple conviction: credit works well when life looks neat, but real life usually does not. Too many consumers and businesses were being excluded by systems that were too blunt to understand them properly. That became the foundation for LoanTube. Today, LoanTube is the AI Engine for Credit Distribution. Our AI Credit Engine powers credit matching, routing, and lender selection across both consumer and SME lending, helping make credit distribution fairer, faster, and more accurate at scale. Bootstrapped from day one, LoanTube has built that Engine into a live, regulated infrastructure layer, now proven through a customer-facing Marketplace processing hundreds of thousands of applications every month. We were also the first UK loans marketplace integrated directly into ChatGPT, and were recognised in the FT1000 2026 as one of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses. Before LoanTube, I trained as a Chartered Accountant and worked in UK credit origination, where I saw first-hand how many otherwise creditworthy borrowers were being locked out by legacy systems. We are building to make credit exclusion a thing of the past.
