About

I build thoughtful, first-of-their-kind technologies at the intersection of engineering, design, and human experience. Over the past 20+ years, I have led the development of complex systems across healthcare, robotics, and mobility, spanning early-stage startups and large organizations creating category-defining products. My foundation is in mechanical and controls engineering, and I began my career at NASA, working on robotic systems that are still operating on Mars today. Since then, I have served in senior technical and product leadership roles across industry, including chief engineering roles at Google and Apple, CTO of WHOOP, and as a co-founder of multiple companies. Across these environments, I have focused on building teams, scaling complex products, growing world class companies, and bringing first-of-their-kind ideas into the world. Today, I am the CEO and co-founder of Curio Studio, a creative technology studio focused on developing emotionally resonant, culturally grounded products powered by emerging technologies. Our work blends deep engineering rigor with imagination, experimentation, and craft, and focuses on a movement-powered adventure product designed to make health feel meaningful, playful, and alive. I believe the best products emerge from clarity, restraint, and iteration. They are built through thoughtful experimentation rather than grand plans. My role as a leader is to set a clear vision, ask the hard questions, and create the conditions for teams to do their best work. When that happens, the results are often better than anything one person could design alone.
