• UNP (Unified Notification Platform) sends notification to the PayPal customer through different delivery channels. All the PayPal products integrate with UNP through API and messaging system
• The UNP (Unified Notification Platform) is a platform for sending Email, SMS, Push, Web Alerts, Paper, Chat notifications to external customers from within PayPal services. As part of the services offered, it is also expected to store the communications / notifications for compliance / legal reasons for over 7 years which also needs to be retrievable either through job or real-time access. The following draft document elaborates below the problems faced in the current system and later the solution for the same.

• Oracle CASB Cloud Service is a multimode cloud-access security broker that provides advanced threat analytics using user-behaviour analytics (UBA), monitoring and alerts, and shadow IT discovery. Our product also includes the reporting of Cloud Application Activities, firewall log contents and even gives the details on the Files Uploaded onto your Cloud Applications.
• CASB has some modules like Data ingestion, Analytics, DLP etc.
• I am key member of new Ingest platform where our focus is to reduce ingestion time i.e once some event happened customer should see alert immediate. Currently working on auto scaling model of ingest based on volume of data in pipelines. We have rewritten whole ingest in reactive and using Rx Java, Kafka streaming and grizzly clients.
• Responsibilities: Development in java tech, Cloud Services, Design and deployment.
• Casb build for threat detection, predictive analysis, and automated incident response and for security configuration over cloud infra like AWS, Azure, and OCI etc.
