About

Two-decades of Analytics-experience in designing, developing and implementing a range of Risk and Marketing analytics Products and Solutions across variety of domains including Payments, Lending, Telecom, Insurance and FMCG. I am also fortunate being positioned among the earliest analytics (data science) practitioners in India’s credit-bureau-business. Experiences acquired through various expedition of product-development along with love for data and analytics, have kept me passionate and taught fascinating nuances of different businesses and Data-science. It’s an honor to be part of the largest credit-bureau in India- TransUnion CIBIL and play lead role in development of all its Generic Analytics Products, which includes -CIBIL Score (soon to be launched version) -Generic Propensity Score -New to Credit Score -Industry based Generic Risk Models for CC, PL, TWL, CD portfolios. I also got opportunity to develop Generic Insurance Pricing Score, branded as TrueRisk, used extensively for Pricing Auto and Home insurance policy in USA. I have been working with TransUnion-CIBIL, for last 8 years. Before Credit-bureau, I had a unique stint of 5 years with Fractal Analytics. I was fortunate developing Telecom-Scorecards for Churn and Collection Management for then largest Telecom service provider, which rolled out at National level, first time ever in telecom-industry in India. I have a keen interest in solving complex real life problems using Analytics and have been able to help businesses taking decisions around Acquisition, Fraud, Cross-Sell, Up-sell, Attrition, Retention, Pricing, CLTV, Collection, Recovery, Underwriting and Reserving, using data and data science. I am Master of Science (Economics) from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR, Mumbai- a Research Institute of RBI ) and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from University of Rajasthan.
