About

I’m a senior software engineer with 10+ years of experience building performance-critical, real-time systems, primarily in trading and data-driven environments. I work close to the metal when needed, but always with a pragmatic mindset: latency, determinism, and correctness matter only insofar as they serve a system that runs reliably in production. My day-to-day work typically involves event-driven architectures, concurrency, memory management, and production debugging, along with improving developer efficiency across large C++/Python codebases and toolchains. I’m comfortable operating across the spectrum, from low-level performance tuning to higher-level system design, depending on where the real bottleneck is. Outside of work, I actively share practical C++ and systems insights through writing. I run the LeetSolve blog, where I break down problem-solving techniques and implementation details for software engineers who care about both correctness and performance. I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from DTU and have over 7 years of university teaching experience in Vietnam and Denmark. This background has shaped how I approach complex systems: analytically, but with a strong emphasis on clear communication and real-world constraints. I’m particularly interested in roles involving trading, energy, or other market-driven systems, where software quality and performance directly impact outcomes. I value long-term maintainability, thoughtful engineering trade-offs, and teams that take reliability seriously.
