• Here @Biofourmis as a QA Engineer, I gained expertise in testing software applications that interacted with a variety of IoT devices. This included thorough testing of devices such as the Biobeat chest monitor, Nonin SpO2 monitor, Welch Allyn blood pressure and weight monitors, Omron devices, Vital Patch, vivalink , Biostrap. and others. My responsibilities involved ensuring seamless integration between these IoT devices and the software applications, validating data accuracy, reliability, and performance under various conditions. This hands-on experience with diverse IoT devices enhanced my understanding of quality assurance in the context of connected healthcare solutions.
• Few of my few responsibilities include:
• 1. Test Planning :-Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• 2.Test Case Design:-Create detailed test cases and test scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• 3.Test Execution:-Perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, usability, performance & security.
• 4.Defect Management:-Identify, report, and track defects using issue tracking systems,& work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• 5.Regression Testing:-Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features/changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• 6.Integration Testing:- Verify the integration of different modules or data from iot device to applications within the software system.
• 7. Documentation:- Document test cases, test results, and other relevant information to support traceability & knowledge transfer.
• 8. Quality Advocacy: Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle, promoting best practices & ensuring adherence to quality standards and processes.
