Rohan M. — Product Engineer
I am a Data Center & Network Infrastructure Engineer with experience supporting hyperscale and enterprise environments across Core Weave, Meta, Comcast, and Energy Tech Global. My background spans GPU-driven infrastructure, routing and switching, automation, and large-scale data center operations. At Core Weave, I support deployment and operations of NVIDIA GB300 GPU infrastructure and RoCE-based fabrics, working with Cisco and Nokia switching, Supermicro platforms, Open gear consoles, rack PDUs, and liquid-cooled CDUs. My responsibilities include POST/BIOS/PXE/IPMI/BMC diagnostics, Linux CLI troubleshooting, firmware validation, QSFP28/QSFP-DD optic configuration (DR1/DR4/LR1/LR4), NMT/FLR validation, link qualification, and Layer 1/2 TCP/IP diagnostics across SM/MM fiber and copper infrastructure. I use Grafana and Splunk to monitor GPU/DPU connectivity, latency, power/thermal telemetry, and fabric health within 24/7 SLA-driven environments while maintaining CMDB accuracy and asset lifecycle coordination. At Meta, I worked in live production data halls performing installation, decommissioning, and break/fix repair of servers, switches, and routers. I handled structured cabling (Cat5e/6/6A, SM/MM fiber), OTDR/Fluke testing, switch swaps, hardware replacements (SSD, DIMM, CPU, PSU, NIC, BBU), port validation, and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting while maintaining ESD and TIA/EIA standards. I also automated port checks and inventory updates using Python and Bash. At Comcast, I performed rack and device audits, floor plan verification, and capacity validation across multiple data centers, aligning infrastructure with power, cooling, and airflow strategies while collaborating with vendors and project teams to ensure deployment accuracy. At Energy Tech Global, I focused on network engineering and automation, designing site-to-site VPNs and optimizing BGP, OSPF, VLAN, ACL, and LACP configurations across Fortinet and Cisco ASA platforms. I deployed monitoring using SolarWinds, PRTG, SNMP, and NetFlow, implemented automated configuration backups, and supported secure AWS and Azure integrations with VPN and Active Directory connectivity. Across these roles, I’ve developed expertise in GPU infrastructure operations, routing and switching, firewall security, automation, structured cabling, monitoring, hardware lifecycle management, and capacity planning, delivering scalable and resilient data center solutions.
