Saatvik Nagpal — Software Engineer

I’m a software engineer who enjoys building scalable systems, especially where full stack development meets AI. Right now I’m working at Mercor, where I build tools and infrastructure that support large scale AI evaluation. A lot of my work focuses on designing distributed pipelines and real time systems. I’ve worked on generating tens of thousands of AI agent runs in parallel, building annotation platforms used by over 100 people at once, and creating automated quality checks that significantly reduced errors and sped up reviews. I spend most of my time working with React, TypeScript, and Python, along with cloud tools like AWS and GCP. I care a lot about writing clean, reliable code and building systems that actually hold up under real usage. Outside of work, I like experimenting with AI products and shipping things quickly. I’ve built a flashcard SaaS app using LLMs and a project that generates localized video ads in multiple languages from a single idea. I’m especially interested in roles where I can work on AI systems, backend infrastructure, or product-focused engineering problems that have real impact.
