• I was the first member of Physical Production team for newly started Netflix India office, to create local content for India. Providing backbone of Physical Production to all Original Series and Films to be produced in India, right from development to pre production to planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Guided local production companies to set up projects as per the high international standards required by Netflix. Once projects went into execution, provided them support with supervision to keep projects on schedule and within the given budget. Working closely with other cross-functional teams solved issues to make sure smooth running of projects to maintain high quality output from the producers. Physical Production team in India has grown on foundations laid by me, to handle increasing volume of projects.

• Worked as a consultant with Applause Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. a Aditya Birla Group company for Production Management. Applause Entertainment restarted in 2017 under new management to produce high quality content for various streaming platforms and for other media platforms. They are producing 15 to 20 shows in the first year itself and ramping it up from second year onward, with top available talent in the field. I consulted for them on all aspects of productions, from budgets to executions to ensure high standards are maintained and delivered.
• Consultant to Ivanhoe Pictures, US from January 2016 to February 2018. Ivanhoe Pictures is motion pictures and television financing and production entity with their head office at Los Angeles and offices in New York, Hong Kong. They have entered into Indian market with ten films deal with Blumhouse Productions & Phantom films. Ivanhoe Pictures is already looking forward to expand their operations in Indian media landscape. As a consultant, appraising them with the ground realities of the Indian markets and closely working on supervising their commissioned projects in India with respect to budget scrutiny, cost effectiveness and executions. Also helping them with identifying new projects and potential partners to invest in.
• Consultant with Discovery Communications India (Discovery Channels) on Production Management from January 2017 to June 2017. Discovery is ramping up original content production with announcement of launch of a new channel, Discovery Jeet and also increasing original content on their other channels like TLC, Discovery Kids by changing program strategies. Negotiated and finalized show budgets with different producers, for numerous new Scripted & Unscripted planned shows. Also guided producers through development stages to set up these shows with Discovery’s expected high standards.

• Benchmark Media Advisory Services, was the media advisory practice at Benchmark Studios. Under this vertical, we provided advisory services to investors and business for their media related projects and investments in India. These advisory services included - starting up of business operations, setting up of infrastructural projects, project management, cost and quality control services. We were based in Mumbai and Los Angeles.
• Our team comprised of senior media experts, with deep industry, functional and technical knowledge. In the past, we have worked with multinationals, large media companies and investors on a variety of projects in India and abroad and are are well versed with global standards and best practices.
• Due to our varied backgrounds, local and international experience, we were able to act as a bridge between investors, creatives and production, with understanding of the local market, logistics, costs and infrastructure availability and knowledge of what it takes to deliver a project on time and on budget. Morevoer, we understood cultural differences since things are done differently in India than in the United States, Europe or China.
• Since we were from the entertainment business, we offered a different perspective than what may be offered by any financial auditing firm. This, we believed was the key differentiator in our services. We took pride in operating with the highest level of professionalism and integrity and assured each client of an impartial point of view their business investments and potential business opportunities.
