I am a software design engineer 2 at Apple Inc. I completed Masters in Computer science from UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) after completing my Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati. I have an academic internship from IIIT Delhi which involved a project in the field of Embedded Systems and Machine Learning, and an industrial internship from Amazon India involving basic Java Servlet and WebApp development. For my B.Tech Project I worked on IoT Security involving Network Layer IDS development and simulation. I am well versed with the Industry Coding Standard and Work Methods. I also worked as a software engineering intern at Apple Inc in 2020 as part of my summer internship at UCLA. During my current role at Apple I work on multiple web projects that facilitate the work of engineers in the organization and reduce manual effort by huge margin. For this I use multiple tech stacks like MERN (MongoDB+Express+React+Node), Django+React, Django+HTML/CSS/JS, etc. I have also worked with multiple database systems including but not limited to PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. I am also responsible for working with cross-functional teams for requirement collection, design discussions, planning etc, and for guiding junior engineers to the best of my ability. Though Software Development is my strong suit, I am also good at theoretical ideation and research.
