I completed the Goldman Sachs - Forage virtual Internship Program in May 2023.
As a part of the program, I had to finish 3 tasks:
1. Analyse the old password methods, by that I had to understand the methods of password generation. Those include Random Password Generators, Passphrases, Pattern-Based Passwords & Diceware Methods.
2. Data Analytics: I was provided with 50+ samples of old-method passwords and I had to analyze the flaws in the Old standard password datasets.
3. Solution: I had to propose simplified and efficient methods to prevent the passwords not to be cracked easily by the hacker or the intruder.
There were several methods by which I performed in enhancing the security of Crack's leaked password database one of these was a hashing algorithm.
