I started out with a degree in Psychology, driven by curiosity, and a dream to serve through the UPSC. Four attempts later, each one shaping me, I realised that sometimes effort alone doesn’t open a door, sometimes it nudges you toward a better one. I briefly entered the world of financial due diligence, but it felt like wearing shoes that didn’t fit. That discomfort led me to Jindal University, where I pursued my Masters degree in Public Policy, seeking something more meaningful, more real. Then came Jan Suraaj, 22 districts, hundreds of stories, thousands of kilometers, where Bihar spoke to me, raw, complex, beautiful. I worked on panchayat-level manifestos, mentored fellows, analysed policies, and felt for the first time that I was building something larger than myself. Yet amidst all that, a quiet pull toward Finance grew louder, the logic, the structure, the opportunity to lead with numbers and integrity. That pull brought me to XLRI Jamshedpur, where I now pursue a PGDM in Finance, ready to bring policy sense, field empathy, and financial rigour into one frame.
