• During my internship, I built rapport, empathized and listened to the experiences of people experiencing various mental illnesses. I interacted with individuals facing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and substance use, gaining insight into how disorders interact and overlap. Additionally, I observed counselling sessions, learning conflict resolution and goal setting. Every day, I delved into mental health files, deepening my understanding of disorders' impacts. I conducted engaging activities with the patients at the centre. I got to see smiles on their faces as they sang their favourite songs or folded a piece of paper into a rabbit!

• I did a 50 hour Clinical psychology internship with Fortis Healthcare, where I attended online classes, read and analyzed research papers and worked on an experiential research project. The application based assignments helped me practically understand concepts of psychology and expand my knowledge of techniques used in a clinical set up.

• During the internship at MV Productions, I assisted several shoots for companies such as Amazon, Ajio, ProjectEve and Meraki. The main tasks involved pre-production and production of shoots that were for TV and digital platforms. With Ajio, I assisted on a shoot that launched the Kids' collection; for Amazon, it was a product launch shoot for an Amazon original product; and with Meraki, it was the launch of the women's clothing line. Through this internship, I got a broader understanding of the psychology behind advertisements, the techniques used for promotion and the value of persistently presenting emotional appeals. The power of visuals in conveying entire stories even without having said a word was understood. I found that this work required me to be on my toes at all times, and I completely enjoyed being on set.

• During my internship at Bangalore Mirror, I had the opportunity to write articles under various beats such as Education, Politics, Feature as well as the City beat. I researched, updated and constantly shot ideas for new articles in the paper. This internship occurred at the time of the 2018 Karnataka Legislative State Assembly Election and I got to witness the results of the polls at the Bangalore Mirror office, which was an unforgettable experience. What amazed me about this internship was the novelty of living in this world, and how there are new stories to tell every single day!
