• Lead the Merchandising and Discovery team while contributing to the architectural improvements to the storefront org. Was part of the AOH team, that works on defining company-wide technical/architectural guidelines.
• As a side project, built an engine that would predict the outcome of certain transactions without evaluating, which would lead to a large reduction in compute costs and improvement in response times.

• As part of the Search and Discovery team, contributed to building one of the most robust systems handling very high throughput while maintaining SLAs.
• Took the ownership of various systems for Swiggy including Authentication and Identity management, Home and menu workflows of the consumer app.
• Was involved in cost savings initiatives of the company that lead to large savings in AWS spends. Was part of the AWS well-architected review that helped streamline and identify nuances for the caches and databases within the company. Technologies used Java, Golang, Python, Mysql RDS, ElastiCache, ElasticSearch, Kafka, EMR, etc
• Worked very closely with Product teams on multiple projects, helping with product definition and user experience.
• Apart from this, I played an active role in hiring, product planning, implementations of best practices and operational stability.

• Joined the small but enthusiastic engineering team at Swiggy. As part of the Platform team, I was involved with building the big data platform that ingested TBs of data on a daily basis.
• Owned the ingestion system and managed the EMR and Kafka clusters operating at a massive scale.
• Liaison with data science and analytics teams to cater the products to their requirements.

• As part of the Azure networking team, I worked on Network Performance and Monitoring Diagnostic Software where I helped design and develop the core features of the software from scratch. I worked on the network layer ensuring no impact on performance while discovering and measuring the health of the network.
• Had a short stint in the Alert Monitoring and Situation Management team where I was part of the team creating the product for Azure from scratch. Leveraged my experience in data sciences to contribute to the alert correlation feature that went on to become the key differentiator in alert management for Azure.

• As part of the Azure org, I was part of the IaaS VM team, where I contributed to the backup and restore functionality being developed. Also contributed to a Release Management Automation Software where I took ownership of the backend system working closely on the Azure stack.

• Created a natural language processing based algorithm from scratch that uses customer reviews to build context around the product including ranking the reviews, creating feature highlights/lowlights. Filed for patent and this algorithm powers the filters on the Bing search engine.
