6. PDF Mining:
Owned complete backend development of a PDF Data Miner + Query Search platform. Architected and developed the PDF Miner consisting of two major processes - CSV generation from the input PDF, and Consumption of CSV to extract and break down tabular and non-tabular contextual data into atomic bullet points to be saved in ElasticSearch. Wrote the CSV transformer in Python and miner in Java. Achieved 85% overall data consistency and accuracy.
Responsible for leading an engineering team of 11 and handling all architectural, project & people management, and functional analysis processes for BHEL at cyfuture. In a span of just over six months after I assumed the new responsibility for almost 70% of business processes and operations, it has drastically reduced and has resulted in better process efficiency.
