• I was the lead front-end IC for the home page of Coinbase, requiring an extreme amount of rigor, quality, and XFN collaboration when making changes. As the team had no IC5+ FEE, I stepped into a larger role.
• Led a 3+ month full redesign of the home page experience & architecture.
• Self-proposed fundamental architecture changes for how we dynamically layout content on the Home surface, optimizing for use cases 6+ months ahead with ML-ranked components & fast iteration of a large, diverse content set
• Was the DRI for execution & task delegation. Parallelized 4 frontend workstreams & led collaboration with backend rearchitecture integration
• Led incident resolution across orgs in response to instability affecting several product spaces

• Acted as Tech Lead for a team of consultants working with a client AlayaCare, which provides a home care platform to manage client visits, etc. Led a team of 4 engineers to build a white labeling product that allowed care providers to re-skin the product in their branding. Interfaced with internal stakeholders, led standups and planning meetings, etc.
• Built a mobile app for a client building for HOA inspectors using React Native. It needed to work in remote neighborhoods (low connectivity) which required offline functionality and syncing client state with backend once a connection was available.
• Also did some work for an early stage YC company building TikTok for real estate. Mostly mobile feature development work in React Native.

• Attempted to build the "Duolingo" of cooking. Built a virtual cooking class platform, allowing chefs and cooks to make money teaching cooking remotely. This was peak pandemic. Built the app in Django and React Native, used Mux for the video infrastructure. Didn't really work as a business but was a great learning experience.

• Full-stack developer for a dog food subscription business. Mostly feature development in React and Django. Led the build of a new customer portal to manage subscriptions which was a fairly large effort, essentially a product redesign.

• Backend engineer at a mobile audio-only workout app. Lots of feature work in Node.js, Postgres, MongoDB. Utilized server-driven UI patterns to keep mobile implementation simple. Built an Instagram-like experience where users could share workouts, weekly streaks, an internal experimentation tool for showing different cohorts of users different subsets of workouts, a hundred or so experiments, and plenty of other things.
