• Built Shopee Voting from scratch, a product used by hundreds of thousands of users. Handled API design, API implementation, code review, and troubleshooting the system.
• Developed Shopee Auction, a real-time microservice system that handles up to 40K requests per second using Golang, TiDB, Redis, Kafka.
• Increased throughput and prevented deadlocks by improving batching, caching, and distributed locking mechanisms.
• Designed and monitored a POC of a WebSocket system that can handle up to millions of concurrent connections using Centrifugo, Kubernetes.
