Introduced in 2015, Trial Week is a concept where engineers from all over the country register to work with Zomato for a week.
After resume shortlisting, I got a chance to work with the Zomato software engineering team at their head quarters in Gurgaon, India. I was assigned a task to develop an Android application with image caching and video playback features. I have used MVP architecture and third party libraries such as Glide, ExoPlayer, AsymmetricGridView and Retrofit to develop a scalable, user interactive and light weight application as per the requirements. It was the great experience to work with the very talented Zomato team.
