I built a high-throughput, API-driven redirect management system using Akamai EdgeWorkers and HarperDB Custom Functions, capable of handling over a million redirects and supporting bulk operations of up to 10,000 records per request. This reduced redirection latency by 35% and directly improved customer experience. I also implemented fine-grained query parameter control for matching, preserving, or excluding parameters—cutting misrouted requests by 50% and reducing potential revenue loss. To ensure flawless navigation, I designed robust conflict prevention logic that eliminated all redirect loops and chains. Separately, I architected a serverless, event-driven system using Cloudflare Workers to capture real-time CDN status notifications and auto-route alerts to Spotlight and XMatters, cutting incident debugging time by 40%.
