Studied to find out major points of glass loss during operations involved in packaging of manufactured beer.
Figured out the major contributor to glass breakage and incorporated changes to reduce the same across departments.
Reduced the glass breakage from 6.7% to 4.3% over a month and saved INR 180000 during the process.
Improved maintenance of filler and readings of mass flow meter to get accurate readings.
These measures reduced beer loss by 2% saving INR 30 million per month.
