About

I'm Daksh Paleria a web developer and an android developer, a final year student at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). I'd also like to express that I have worked on multiple technologies throughout my journey as a developer. I have good experience in android development using Flutter and am also familiar with Web Development, and DevOps. I have majorly gained my experience through open source projects, I was a Google Summer of Code 2021 (GSoC '21) participant with Cuneiform Digital Library Initiative (CDLI) which further helped me grow around these tech stacks. Apart from this, I'm also an avid Blockchain Developer that has helped me get into Summer of Bitcoin 2022 (SoB '22) with bcoin where I worked on implementing the Taproot soft fork on bcoin which is an alternative implementation of the Bitcoin protocol, written in JavaScript. Developed a dashboard that can visualize the admin with more than 20+ digital assets for 100k+ artifacts using Cake PHP and MariaDB.
Created a Python script to replace the manual methods of updating the database for more than 150K assets. Added Docker support to remove hardware redundancies.
Reduced the manual work by 50% by adding CRON Jobs to update the database on a daily basis.
