• Designed a Graphical user interface using SKILL language for ASCO (A SPICE circuit optimizer) software, to automatically optimize ‘unsized’ schematic, saving a lot of time and energy of an Analog designer. After extracting the netlist from the schematic, the software would do necessary calculations to deduce optimum values of circuit components which met the design criterion as close as possible. The design constraints and objective could be fed by the user via a user-friendly GUI.
• Was part of a project in designing a Current Controlled Injection Locked Frequency Divider (CCILFD) for lock range of nearly 1GHz. This unique frequency divider design was based on 3-stage ring oscillators compared to conventional designs which are based on D- Flip-flops. It is a revolutionary approach to Mod-2 frequency division and will be part of future designs of Nokia mobiles.
