Built a dedicated music player widget that is displayed in the zero state of the Nova Launcher which has over 90 Million Downloads.
Engineered a self-contained module that plugged in the Branch’s discovery SDK and emitted a music player container to be shown on Branch Zero state.
Implemented and evaluated various inter-process communication mechanisms, including Content Providers, AIDL, and Broadcast, to identify the most efficient solution for a specific use case, optimizing for minimal latency and maximum performance.
Implemented custom workflow actions in YAML, leveraging APIs to fetch real-time details of the currently playing song, and seamlessly integrated the obtained data to dynamically display the song details in the zero state.
