• Led and contributed to multiple feature initiatives as part of the Cars migration to Universal Shopping, a major architectural shift. Began by integrating and configuring multiple downstream gRPC clients into the new GraphQL service to enable seamless inter-service communication, and delivered several end-to-end TnL-backed features that significantly improved CVR, gross profit, and user engagement.
• Led pre-launch validation for the Cars variant by supporting UAT and conducting burst tests to assess system resilience. • Designed and delivered a critical, state-specific price display feature aligned with U.S. regulations (e.g., CA, MN). Leveraged SOLID principles to create an extensible codebase, enabling seamless integration of additional states. Executed under tight deadlines to ensure compliance and prevent business disruption.
• Designed and led high-impact features such as MOD and price Badges under Scale Lodging Wins initiative, driving measurable business outcomes. Led the Trips Save Item integration into Cars, expanding core product capabilities.
• Built an e2e testing framework for our Kotlin-based GraphQL service using Karate, improving reliability, and CI/CD velocity.
• Created a spoofer service from scratch, a gRPC-based service simulating downstream APIs for scalable performance testing. Implemented a scalable performance testing strategy using JMeter, resulting in improved latency and throughput. Standardized load testing practices across the team.
