During my tenure with the Prime Video Team, I spearheaded the successful launch of the exclusive rental feature for the Prime Video platform in Brazil and India. This entailed a thorough comprehension of the existing systems, customer needs, and the technical aspects of feature implementation. As a result of this initiative, the rental feature was made available to both Prime and non-Prime customers in these countries, positively impacting a combined population of over 120 million individuals and generating an estimated yearly revenue of more than $15 million USD. I also had the privilege of leading the development and launch of the Channels subscription feature for Prime Video in India, working in close collaboration with the team to ensure that the feature met customer expectations.
After my successful stint with the Prime Video team, I transitioned and joined the team responsible for developing a unified HR portal for Amazon employees, I was involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle, from initial software design to requirement gathering with stakeholders, implementation, testing, and deployment. This included a wide range of HR services, such as compensation, leave, attendance, and more, all in a single, user-friendly platform.
The end result was an enhanced employee experience, as the one-stop solution eliminated the frustrating cycle of routing and re-routing to accomplish necessary HR tasks. I took pride in playing a key role in building a system that positively impacted over two million Amazon employees, increasing productivity and job satisfaction.
