• I participated in the summer school of urban design titled "Design the historic centre: the Botanical Gardens, the Asian district and the Swaeli district", held in Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) at the Ardhi Institute University. The summer school was directed by prof. Anthony Mosha (Ardhi Institute) and prof. Marina Molon (Politecnico of Milan).
• The master has focused on the development of master plans and projects in collaboration with local students, and a presentation, an exhibition, a conference and a publication of the final results to various Tanzanian Ministers. The exhibition was also replicated at the Politecnico of Milan. Years later, some of the projects and of the masterplans have been realized and are still visible in the port area and along the seashore area of Dar es Salaam.

• I participated in the summer school of architectural and urban design titled " Un Mejoramiento Posible" (a possible improvement), held in Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) at the Pedro Henriquez Ureña National University. The summer school was directed by prof. Walter Barbero and prof. Marina Molon both from Politecnico of Milan. The summer school of urban refurbishment was organized by Ciudad Alternativa (NGO) and by Copadeba (NGO), who participated in 4 unviversity of Santo Domingo (the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña, the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, the Universidad Iberoamericana and the Pontificia Universidad Catholica Madre y Maestra), the Facultad de Arquitectura of the Universidad de Puerto Rico, the Centro per l’Estudio del Habitat of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia of Medellin.
• The master has seen the creation of many organic architectural projects of feasibility, technical and economical recovery of 2 Santo Domingo district (favelas) called Cienega and Guandules. The project involved an area that homed 54,000 inhabitants living without drinkable water, sewerage system, electricity, paved roads, health assitance, etc.
• The resulting projects were exposed at the Bienal de Cuba (October 1993), in Santo Domingo (November 1993), at the Esposicion Internacional de Guadalupe (December 1993) and at the Politecnico of Milano (May 1994). The resulting projects were published in the book by Walter Barbero and Marina Molon, “La Cienega y Los Guandules”, Edizioni Unicopli, Milan (Italy), 1995.
• Some years later, a part of the projects have been realized and are still visible.
