• Lead Engineering and Security functions globally, building the most advanced and trusted AI platform for Contact Centers around the world. In this time, we significantly expanded our product lines, enabled rapid innovation and scaling of intelligent capabilities using LLMs while strengthening our security posture as an enterprise platform.
• Focused on deepening our platform for Enterprises, we built and launched a number of new products including a live virtual agent assistant, smart knowledge search for agents, automated summaries from conversations, integrated audio-visual quality management, virtual private instances for enterprises targeting the highest level of security and isolation and so much more. Our incredible engineers also built our own LLMs purpose built for contact centers to power all parts of our platform, as we helped our customers make every user interaction really count.
• In order to drive long term velocity and operational excellence, I helped streamline our organisational design and engineering operations to speed up decision making and move fast. We also increased engineering wide focus on security and reliability for our enterprise platform, and effectively built a deep culture of cost effectiveness for our infrastructure spend.
• As a result of our collective efforts, we outpaced the market in revenue growth under challenging macro conditions and improved our profitability at the same time.

• Enabling access to insights from data at human scale. ThoughtSpot is on a mission to build a fact-driven world, using Search and AI, where anyone can simply ask questions of their data using natural language and get instant answers. In other words, Google for data.
• I was incredibly lucky to be part of the Engineering team at ThoughtSpot and helped establish and grow our India R&D operations. We grew from 1 to 250+ amazing builders and fundamentally reshaped our product and business while working with customers and partners around the globe. As a company, we grew 10x in this timeframe to become a $4B+ unicorn.
• Our engineering teams in India helped spearhead our cloud strategy by building our entire cloud data platform from scratch which has now become the key foundation for the company. We built (and sometimes rebuilt) key parts of our overall platform and architecture, created new product lines (e.g. ThoughtSpot Everywhere) and industry-leading capabilities (auto-analysis aka SpotIQ). Most importantly, we dreamed, worked hard, stumbled and kept getting up stronger together.
• As the site and engineering lead, I got to work with an incredible team on a vast array of challenges, learnt a ton and just had a great time.

• KredX is solving for quick and efficient working capital financing for small businesses of all shapes and sizes across India. KredX's platform allows SMBs to flexibly monetise their future/unpaid receivables from large customers, by selling them to financial investors ranging from large institutions to HNIs.
• As a cofounder and the CTO, I built the team and technology platform responsible for all key functions of our business, from scratch. I was responsible for end-to-end execution - from product vision and roadmap all the way to system architecture and code. Fortunate to hire a great team to work alongside and build a product that was loved by our customers.
• In this time, we successfully served as a lifeline for a host of SMBs enabling them to grow rapidly, and for financial investors to benefit from that growth. As a result, the business grew from $0 to $XXM annually and we raised $6.25M from Sequoia Capital as part of a Series A round.

• Conceptualised and built innovative new systems to solve key problems across areas like Websearch, Ads, YouTube and Apps. Key accomplishments included:
• Search Ads:
• Proposed and built an entirely new system to discover relevant ad-keywords for SearchAd targeting on Google.com and partner sites. Resulted in significant revenue gains along with improved ad performance and the infrastructure enabled a host of other revenue positive initiatives.
• Google Apps:
• New architecture and algorithms for Google Drive performance and scaling.
• Information discovery features as part of Google's Enterprise Search product (Springboard).
• Websearch:
• Built large-scale, high-performance systems used to improve Websearch quality for a variety of use-cases like long-tail queries, locations, suggest etc.
• Built an ambitious new system for efficiently scaling Google.com Search index size.
• YouTube:
• Proposed and built an entirely new graph-based model to support YouTube Search & Discovery (including Personalization) exploiting linkage across various siloed data sources.

• Ads Click Quality:
• The click quality team works on systems and tools to detect and prevent 'click fraud' on all ad-networks and ad products associated with Google.
• Lead and built the systems responsible for almost real-time decision making for fraud across all of Google's ad related traffic (> 80% of all detected events).
• Improved precision as well as recall for various models by identifying new techniques and signals via large-scale data analysis.
• Product Search (GoogleBase):
• GoogleBase was a product to enable structured search across heterogeneous schemas and was closely integrated with Product Search.
• Infrastructure for supporting real-time updates to the index, the spam detection system as well as experiments for merging GoogleBase results into Google.com when relevant.
• Improved product search quality by tuning the scoring model and better spam detection models.

• Quantifying cannibalization of organic search results by ads:
• Designed and implemented an experiment to measure and analyse the rate of cannibalization for Amazon.com where organic search results are ignored by search users on sites like Google and Yahoo, in favour of ads.
