• As a perpetually broke student, I became a bartender—mastering cocktail shaking, breaking up bar fights, serving Idris Elba, a UN Under Secretary General and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) while England crashed out of the World Cup, and pouring a gazillion drinks an hour.
• It wasn’t for the art—it was my bootcamp in high-stress multitasking and networking, most importantly my way to scrape together enough cash to build my next idea.

• In between the courts and the cocktails, I was burning through nights in the founder’s office of Fama, a Web3 NFT startup.
• Pure hustler mode — one moment knee-deep in market research, the next on calls with early customers, and every week personally identifying and reaching out to over 1,000 high-profile influencers across social media to crack open B2C sales opportunities.
• It was chaotic, relentless, and experimental — my initiation into the scrappy frontier of the internet economy, where speed mattered more than sleep and resourcefulness mattered more than pedigree.

• Served as a pupil at the Chambers of Dr. Aditya Sondhi, Senior Advocate—working on cases that stretched from the Debt Recovery Tribunal to the Supreme Court of India.
• I assisted in a £1.7 billion debt recovery case for Diageo Holdings Netherlands, and in a Public Interest Litigation against the Karnataka government on the Freedom of Religion Bill. My early training ground was constitutional law, billion-pound disputes, and public interest battles—an initiation into complexity, high stakes, and precision.
• That foundation would, bizarrely enough, set the stage for my next apprenticeship: behind the bar, where the chaos was just as real, the stakes just as high, and the multitasking skills equally vital. Both, in their own way, added up to the education that made me an entrepreneur.

• While at UCL, I went on an academic side quest — assisting professors to “deepen my understanding of economics.” The plan was to wrestle with micro and macro models, maybe become the next Keynes.
• The reality? I walked away with a quasi-understanding of supply and demand curves… and, somehow, a research paper in international law arguing the legality of the Iraq War.
• Not exactly the syllabus I signed up for, but it taught me that curiosity (and a bit of mission creep) can take you to some very strange and unexpectedly useful places.

Apr 2020 – Dec 2021 · 1 yr 8 mos · London + Bengaluru

• It started in the middle of COVID, during my gap year, with zero funding and no clue — just chaos, curiosity, and WiFi.
• I founded a student-run news network that grew to 60,000+ readers worldwide and led a 200+ person team across continents. One week we were on the ground reporting Hindu–Muslim riots, the next we were building twitter bots to detect fake news.
• When the pandemic hit hardest, we hacked together an AI-driven 24/7 helpline that ended up saving 500+ critical patients across three cities.

Sep 2019 – Nov 2019 · 2 mos · Bangalore

• In between building, I was making scratch concept ads — everything from billion-dollar conglomerates like Future Group to kitchen appliances no one remembers buying.
• As a high schooler in one of the country’s biggest ad agency, I discovered the power of media: how ideas bend culture, how stories sell. I learned filmmaking under IIFA Best Director winners (like the director of Pink) and worked with the UN Women’s HeForShe campaign. The bug stuck. I went on to make my own short films, which somehow ended up traveling the international festival circuit and even winning laurels.
• That early crash course in storytelling and media became the spark that later pushed me to build a global student-run news company — my first startup.

Aug 2014 – Dec 2014 · 4 mos · My Bedroom

• It all started in 7th grade with a bet I made with my mom after watching The Social Network: I swore I could build my own social network — for my grade. The idea was wholesome: connect based on interests, not profile pics or friend counts. Classic fake-your-age-to-get-on-Facebook kid logic.
• The execution… less wholesome. I was completely oblivious to copyright law, so the platform came packed with torrented movies, songs, books, and a Miniclip plugin (obviously) for good measure. Within 60 days, 500 kids had signed up. Then the chaos hit: swarms of bots, thousands of spammy Mail.ru emails, no captcha, and a GoDaddy server wheezing under massive media files. Predictable, in hindsight. At the time? Felt like the end of my empire.
• But that was my first real project: solo-piloting everything from branding and interface to DNS, servers, and ground-level marketing — which in practice meant handing out fliers at a girls’ school fest, thinking I looked like a visionary, but really just looking like a dorky teenager. Still, 10/10 would recommend. My first taste of building something from nothing — and loving the chaos.
