• Did full R\&D for introducing a K8s Gateway for our K8s cluster to improve the security and reliability of the infra and chose Envoy Gateway. Designed all the pipelines and guidelines around usage of Envoy Gateway in our infra and lead the migration of whole Infra to usage of envoy gateway.
• Contributed to Envoy Gateway open source code as well to rectify the blocking things for EG setup and fix some bugs I discovered in rnd.

• Designed and coded an In house low level networking Gateway for Web socket connections using netty as a replacement for AWS gateway being used, which brought costs from 4000$ --> 10$ / month and scales to handle 100K+ active WS conn's easily.
• Designed and coded a Phishing detection pipeline for incoming emails to detect fraudulent emails which easily scans 3M+ mails daily
• Designed and coded full-text scalable email search from scratch using Elasticsearch which actively indexes a petabyte scale mail store. Handled end to end migration of all 1B+ mails of 2M+ users to new search and built Disaster Recovery around it as well.
• Designed the working of AI Website Builder. Also Did POC around various things we can do using AI and built demo projects around it.
• Designed and built Appointment Booking backend from scratch which is our new product similar to Calendly.
• Coded lots of common libraries which are used by all the backend services helping in standardisation of metric reporting and become underlying stack agnostic which also makes it easy to shift tech stacks in future.
• LLead a team of 2 engineers and mentored them for working on analytics and Calendar services.

• Introduced better API’s for Calendar micro-service, Improved db schema and debugging capabilities of the whole system by building history trees for a lifecycle of a calendar event, using which even support teams can also debug user issues reducing developer bandwidth.
• Working on optimising Calendar Events flow for internal users which would not rely on ICS protocol. Worked on securing unauthorised event changes(a flaw of ICS protocol) for our customers.

• Rewrote Data pipelines for analytics, by shifting data from json based files to parquet based files which decreased storage use by half, increased query speed by 5-10 times and decreased storage and query costs significantly. The pipeline is high scalable and ingests 100M+ events daily . Migrated entities from Hbase to Aurora and depreciated use of Hbase for analytics.
• Built full backend from scratch for an Internal permission based platform which then became central point for introducing all automation related to Backend tasks.
• Rewrote whole Calendar backend from scratch which scales now to 2M+ users.
