• Using JavaScript, created ten invocable actions that allow other internal applications to easily perform one line integrations with Amazon’s internal image hosting service. The action suite provides a variety of different ways (automated vs. interactive, raw binary upload vs. URL upload, etc.) to perform downloads, uploads, and deletions. Each action takes care of user input requirements, validity checks, file format manipulations, optimizations,authentication, error handling, API return formatting, and cache busting. Currently in use in multiple internal tools to greatly simplify merchandiser workflow, saving tens of thousands of merchandiser hours.
• Developed an internal application that allows for navigation, browsing, search, upload, deletion, and information gathering (i.e. image size, transaction details, etc.) of the directory structure housing all general images available to be displayed on Amazon.com. This tool is used by over ten thousand Amazon employees to view/upload images for promotions on the retail site.
