1. Worked as a full-stack engineer on DSF in Data Works team. DSF's (Data Security Framework) goal is to centrally secure Google’s most sensitive data assets with fine-grained access policies that reduce the risk of data exposure.
Major contributions:
Adding a new user persona to the existing system.
Migrating few front end services to Boq.
Migrating few backend api's to Boq.
Owning and contributing to "All Data Access" feature which aims to reduce the friction for data custodians while registering resources.
2. Worked as full-stack engineer in CMM (Continuous Metrics Measurement), a generic platform which continuously measures the ML models efficacy. It involves Data pipelines to fetch data from client source systems into CMM system, sampling the data and sending to ground truth system(Platform where Data Stewards can provide feedback). CMM system pulls back the data from ground truth system when evaluation is done and computes metrics based on use case. For example in Search Relevancy use case CMM computes( MWP, MAP, NDCG ).

Worked on low latency on demand service "DataMart Builder as a Service" from scratch. Service creates DataMarts(IBM DB2 Instances) and loads the data into it from Hadoop data lake .Request details such as source table names in Hadoop data lake, expiry date of the data mart, communication gdl, description , gdl to whom db access has to granted are captured in Service portal where user will login and submit requests which invokes service rest api's(create,drop,load)data marts.
My major contributions are in
1.) Building the service portal using React. Some of the key features of service portal are
a.) Different view for different users based on their respective roles(service user, service admin).
b.) Ability to put entire service into maintenance mode by click of a button for admins.
c.) Ability to refresh the data in the data mart.
d.) Ability to rebuild a drop data mart
2.) Building the health check modules which will constantly probe the health of data mart across different clusters and raise alerts(outlook mails, ms teams notifications) to service team if the health of any data mart goes bad
3.) Building the rest api in nodejs to launch the data marts in kubernetes cluster which then pulls data from hadoop data lake and notifies the users the connection details after the loading finishes.

Worked as Software Development Intern in PaaS(Platform as a Service) team of Data Platform.Developed modules to automate failover and validation processes in Hadoop High Availability architecture using Python, Ambari API's. Failover, Validation modules will be triggered in the patching workflow. Before shutting down any master service failover modules will be triggered and disaster mimicking happens and failover is done gracefully then patching workflow will continue by shutting down a node but the service users won't face downtime because the standby node has come up and is ready to serve the requests
