  • I was at the Android team and my project was to build a TV and phone app connection to making watching easier on TV. I designed and implemented a general purpose Kotlin library for two way communication between any two devices on a local network. Then incorporated this library inside the Android app of Hotstar and built a UI for it resulting in a service where one could discover and connect to a TV on a local network ,see what's being played on it and open and play content on TV from the phone. This was finally chosen to be built for the whole Hotstar ecosystem.
